Waited an hour in the pouring rain and wind for this, and then it had hardly any steam or smoke. But it's still a beauty, I think.
At Ruddington in Nottingham. It runs to Loughborough and back at present. However, at the other end of the carriages there is a diesel engine, as you might just spot in the first picture. In the second picture, the CoT is actually going backwards, being hauled by the diesel.
Nice, i can see the rain in the 2nd pic. I would love to see it again, (with Nikon this time) and am round that area today but i guess it not running through the week.
