i have an clifford 300 in my golf rallye but it has stopped working my central locking.
central locking works fine with key.

is there anything i can do/check?
if its dead does this mean i just need a new alarm fitted?

it could just be a fuse as the concept 300 only has a 2 wires in it for the central locking so it would have had 2 relays fitted to make the central locking work
so first of all look for a blown fuse
also you may want to check the 2 wire central locking motor that would have been fitted in the drivers door to activate the factory vacuum locking this may have become unplugged or even burnt out

2 wire central locking motor blown, so swapped to a new one i had- that now works.

now car central locking is playing up.
tryed another pump and drivers switch

maybe the linkage needs ajusting as new motor is slightly longer?

right fixed my central locking. just moved the motor down a bit and re fixed it. job done

now ive bought a new remote but cant programme it due to not being able to get valet switch to work.
can get into valet mode using remote (holding * and headlight button but when i touch the switch it clicks but not chirping.

    anything i could try?

using the remote velet does not get you into programming
you need to use the valet switch to do it
how do you know the valet switch is not working ?
