Clifford Valet Switch Wiring

    Where do the connectors go, which one is common, which is latched and which is monetary sides of the switch :)

    My Concept 600 had a digital switch with two wires one black one white

    Sticker on the back of the main unit on the plastic casing inside the metal housing

    Its in a sealed metal case - i cant really open it to find out :lol:


    And i've lost my wiring diagrams - which is making it eve more funt o re-install, as its a totally custom loom and i cant remember what the hell all the wires are for :lol: :lol:

    Ok if you look at the switch there is a plastic lug on the bottom that covers the terminals a bit.
    turn the switch so the lug is under the three terminal (so you can clearly see the terminals)
    the left one is red, middel is white, right end is black.
    sorry i cant remember which is the latched side but i will have a look tonight [:$]
    these should plug into a two pin plug and black wire is a single connection.
    its been a while so i hope IRC.

    yeah, there is a two pin and a sinlge pin plug. The wires have come off right at the switch solder terminals, hence the problem

    So white is the common, jus need the other two for sure.

    if you look at the switch you will get what i mean about the plastic lug on the switch. and the way the wires connect.
    IIRC the black it the latched side. if you get them the wrong way around the worst that will happen is the switch will work the other way. give it a go or if you still want to be 100% sure i will look for you tonight. :)

    andy, you still got my number? got concept40 sitting at home, same valet switch i'll have look.oh yeah, if it's alarm i sent you (custom loom kind of suggests it is) it's concept50 you,ve got

    Yeah its still that alarm, its in its on its 3rd install now :lol:


    I prob still have your number yeah. If you could confirm that would be great, it got a wee bit messy when ripping it out of the wreck quickly [:$]

    the red is on the latched side. :thumbup:
