Cliiford alarms...?

    i have one. its great and i love the full closure option im for ever pulling up with my windows down :lol:

    bit of a bugger to retro fit to another car but I've done one so it cant be that tricky...

    all depends on how well its installed...i had a car broken into when i'd just got one, installer had been very silly,alarm didn't sound at all.

    tho, they're great in that the button works first time everytime, works from a long distance(no standing around next to the car for five mins pressing the button a million times) and they have lots of features, and upgrades.

    i can reset mine from my bed with out even standing at the window :lol:

    however sometimes thats not good when you sit on them [:s]

    Mt clifford for my MKIII gti came like that cause we ripped it out of a 10 nova [:$]
    But we gave it to a bloke who knew what he was doing and bobs your uncle a few pounds later i had a nice clifford concept 50 alarm in my car [:D]

    I can do that with the stock one! However Ive always been tempted by something aftermarket thats a bit tougher to beat. Can you retrofit a used one then? I would have thought thats a nightmare

    I've had a 50x for 5 years, it's great.

    Just bought a avantguard G5 off ebay dirt cheap too.

    they are good, but its the fitting that makes them better than the rest in my opp.

    Ive also had a 50x for 5 years and its given no trouble whatsoever but i suppose its all down to how well its fitted.

    Had the Concept 600 fitted for two years. It has been brilliant. I managed to knacker the digital til motion sensor so it was replaced for free under the lifetime guarantee. Comes with loads of goodies, and has the added bonus of scaring the Sh*t out of people when they stand close to the car in a car park. :lol:
