July's Golf+ magazine had this letter in it, which most forum regulars will have seen

Our response is in the current issue of Golf+ magazine:

^^ This is a letter put together by the day-to-day team that runs the forum (though Golf+ seem to have written their reply as if it was myself expressing my opinion - it is a Club response).

This was the original thread which killie gti ran whilst simultaneously writing his drunk rantings to the Golf+ - click

These are other threads which killie also got involved with: Click - 1, Click - 2 & Click -3

The CGTI letter refers to various Googled spottings of 'killie-gti' on other websites, parading his Mk3, eg:

    http://www.mk3love.com/forum/viewto...&start=0&sid=17001587a90d7b6bc0889d2f2314eb6d

    Latest though, from here:

    [:s]

We see that killie mysteriously appears to have closed his photobucket account ...

I wonder why? It that because he'd dug himself a great hole and had links to CGTI threads, and also had loads of paramilitary stuff in his original photobucket account?

Bwah, ha ha. I think more a case of having closed the old one and set up a new one to break the forum links.

Anyone want to help our friend with pictures they've saved down? I'm sure he'd appreciate it

A well written reply by club GTI chris, hopefully this matter has been laid to rest and hasnt dented the clubs reputation and put off potential new members.

Just to be clear peeps, the forum team gave their input to the letter - it was a CGTI response to unjustified criticism of a level we've never previously seen.

I was shocked to read all that - seems he is an attention seeker. I go on my local club forum and wanted a bigger club to join and I love this forum. Great advice and people willing to help! well done Chris for handling it so well!

Very well written letter all, but it's a shame it had to be done to be honest. It was a shame to see them print such a rediculous letter in the first place... Cause of debate, I suppose.

I for one prefer CGTI to every other forum I post on, and mainly for the points which 'killie' threw his toys out of his pram over. I can only take enough of 'luvvy duvvy' forums, and like the fact nobody on here is afraid to get to the point and speak their minds.
It's also second to none for help. I will say you have to get used to the banter, but as long as you don't take yourself too seriously it's fine.

I'm sure most people feel the same way, and saw through this idiot's letter. If I wasn't already signed up it'd probably have made me want to join if i'm honest!

    The club needs a spellchecker.
