all the same old cack sold with a different album name.

They are generic CD's they sell every 6 months a new one comes out that has the same songs that people probably have on 5 different albums but they still buy the 'classic' 'anthems' 'old skool' CD's..... it puzzles me tbh

i thought that about the 'new' garage CD they've just realised.

watched the advert for it knowing that i have every single song on one of my old garage CD's so figured whats the point.

i suppose its more for people that werent around for that 'era' but , well, seems a little pointless

I used to get so p**sed off with buying a CD to wade through the crap to get to the 2 or 3 decent tracks on the album that I took up Djing so I could actually have a full CD with good tunes  .

I think what you are exposed to will massively influence the choice. Looking at the track listing above would be a 'Venom' or 'generic larger club' goers wet dream as all the hands in the air...well pints in the air anthems are there. I'm not slating these establishments (although my tone is that of them not being my cup of tea don't you know;) ) but not my idea of a good night like a 'Frantic' or 'HHA' would be.
I bought the Lashes last euphoria and although SOME of the tunes where decent the mixing...oh my f**ing Lord...the mixing was so bad that I would be embarresed about giving a copy to a best mate let alone set it for mass release...Lashes you should be ashamed!

Can't wait for the New Energy Collective to get their asses in gear and get 'Hard Transin 8' out ton their site...Keving Energy is da man lol [:D]

    ^^^^ agreed....

my girlfriend DJ's in a lot of the larger generic clubs and has to cater for there lack of musical taste which basically means you can only play stuff they already know - or if its a awesome new electro song they will hate it unless its a pop remix version.....
    [:x] [:x]

Dance music has been so diversified that you really have to know what you like if your to find decent mixed albums, failing that learn to mix and do your own....

hypermonkey - have you heard Paul Glazby's album? a retrospective of vicious....

Yep...Glazby has done some awesome tunes for the time, my tastes changed so he's not on my top list anymore.
Have to agree with the 'breasts' thing. There are many brilliant female Djs out there, don't get me wrong, just some offer better bjs' than me and are kinder on the eye. I played after one of these at a 'Wide Awake Club' night and tbh it was great as the crowd responded sooo well after the 90 mins of gash they had just been exposed to:lol:

My all time fave female DJ is Lisa Pin-up...brilliant performer, mixes are sublime and hard as nails, and to top it off she is one of the nicest people on the planet as is her husband...Peter Pin-up we have named him. I even got a brilliant get well card from them when I did my crutial ligament in....and a nice pic of her to see me through the recovery[:$] [:D]

lashes at Hard Dance Awards at brixton acadamy was something else!!!!!!

probably the best I have seen from here....

but the Rob Tissera is on a different level to her I think, he is my favorite....
