Clutch advice

Hi Bill

ive got a mk2 20vt running remapped K04 and the clutch has just gone What clutch would you recommend?

Current set up is

MK4 GTI 5 SPEED GEAR BOX (02J)
HELIX PERFORMANCE PRESSURE PLATE
HELIX PERFORMANCE 6 PUCK SPRUNG FRICTION PLATE
HELIX PERFORMANCE RELEASE BEARING
LIGHTENED O2A FLYWHEEL
SELF ADJUSTING CLUTCH CABLE

how long has the helix setup lasted you?
it should be ok....

I run SPEC clutch myself.. stage 3 and stage 3+ (currently)

 

the helix set up has done approx 20,000+ miles but i found the helix set up to be a little harsh. Would a sachs vr6 be able to cope with the power/torque from a remapped k04? ive seen these priced very reasonably

 

i have used stock luk on ihi, 300bhp ibiza and its been ok... 6 months so far

 

Hi bill, just noticed you use a spec clutch, do you supply these?
