I sometimes get a lot of condensation on the inside of the rear screen and even on the inside of the rear quarter when i pulled the carpet away and in the spare wheel area, How to prevent this? I have pulled the carpets up and have been driving around with sunroof open and heating on which has reduced the problem.

err, new seals! or you could be a pikey and try some sealant. better off with hylomar, silicone will make a right mess.

It's worth checking for moisture on the inside of the rear panel too, where the badges are. They can tend to let water in if the car's jet washed a lot of the time, especially if the little blue badge pin jobbies are torn/missing.

sounds like condensation so it could be water getting in

    the doors ,sunroof,or the boot

check for wet carpet in footwells or down the fan duct

if you have rust in your arches and the skins have parted

water could get in there too

put newspaper under the carpet to soak up water
