   My starter motor is possibly on its merry old way out. Can I fit the started motor from a 1.6 Driver to it? Its just that I have one of these in the garage...
   
   
   The Corrado is a 1.8 16. (actually a 2.0lt ABF)

   nope wrong shape. seat/mk3 golf abf or tdi ones fit, as do other corrado and passat. manual gearbox and 4 pot only though

   I thought that might be the case. Hopefully when I fit the new batter it will actually just be that and not the starter motor!
