Hi VW gurus. Im hoping some one can help me. I ve recently fitted a newly rebuilt 2l 8v into my mk1. after doing 600 or so running in miles an oil leak appeared dripping off the bottom of the plate seperating the gearbox from the engine, on the engine side (you can see and feel it running down) I thought the source of this leak would be the rear crank oil seal, so had the box off and replaced with a new seal. After fitting 2 new seals now i still have the problem, any ideas? Im not with the car again until friday when im going to check the breather isnt clogged up, but if i had high cankcase pressure wouldnt other seals on the engine leak too? cheers
