Fortunatly I'm ok just have a broken ankle, but tbh i'm more worried about the car!!
Really am gutted was such a genuine car.
The Thrid party have already taken liabilaty which is a weight off of my mind!
just really worried what insurance are going to offer for it, what do you lot think its worth? I mean it owes a fortune!
it had 88,000, full service history upto 85,000 and wasn't a mark on it :(

Anyway here are the pics and thanks for looking!

    nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo not a monza one
someone bumped mine a few years ago and the damage to the back wing was as little as the kink in your roof and they nearly wrote it off, they said they would have paid me 500 quid and gave me the car back, not the best offer but i think they just wanna give you what they think its worth not what its worth to us

    not good.

hope it was on an agreed value policy

you will need to prove how RARE that colour and condition is - it will be stressful, good luck.

That is gutting. I am really sorry for you. Glad that you are ok though, even if you have a broken ankle. It looks like it could have been worse...

This is absolutely gutting - what a waste, especially considering the rare colour, its originality and low mileage.

What happened - did someone pull out of a junction?

I was driving down a main road, the helmet that hit me just pulled out of a side road no indercation, without stopping like he was on a death wish!

As for me breaking my ankle, I don't really know how that happend! If you look at the pedals in one of the interior pics you can see they've all moved, might be something to do with that?
And belive me I really am gutted :(

Make sure you had photo's at the scene of the accident as I'd put money on them changing their story later on.
It'd be easy for them to say you were speeding and they were in shock when they gave the statement.

if it is deemed to be entirely the other guy's fault you can insist that your car be repaired to it's original condition or they pay you an acceptable figure. when the insurance companies offer to write it off is an offer, which you can refuse.

edit: looks pretty similar damage to mine, kinked roof etc. did you bite the steering wheel? ;)
