Couple of years ago spent some money on family history CDs to look up baptisms, deaths etc. I had a Win XP computer then and had to install Microsoft Net 1 to get this software to work.

I now have Win 7 computer and can't get these CDs to install (think my PC has a much later version of Net on it now). I tried installing V1 again, but it screwed up my PC, so I have to go back to a restore point.

I've emailed the FH society twice for advice, but they've just ignored me.

Having coughed up 90 for the data, I'd like to be able to look at it. Is there any way to get at the data from the CDs?

(on Win XP, you put in the forename/surname details and it looked them up for you; couldn't get to see all the names at the same time)

Any help I'd be grateful for.

    TIA
