Now, you stupid English lot, and the rest of the uneducated world, think that when we Irish say 'Fechin Hell', we are swearing!

    Fechin Hell. We are not!

St. Fechin was one of the three Great Saints of Ireland along with Patrick, and another, whose name I forget cos. I am on my sixth English ale.

St. Fechin was born just 2km from where I sit. We have to cross his bridge every time we drive to Sligo, and anywhere else for that matter.

St. Paddy drove out the snakes. St. Fechin drove out the Devil to hell.

    Hence, the phrase!

For those of yous lot who do not know about my sense of humour.

This is my sense of humour!

    Dave.
