Hi all Fitting an 1.8t into my mk1 and just looking at the options of both. Searching online it seems you can play around with dbw and also is good for traction control too? Anyone got a mk1/2 golf with dbw?? Anyone know anything more about the dbw? Thanks
I have an 1.8t DBW set up in my mk2... This has allowed me to keep the TCS from the donor car... I went this way as I wanted to transplant the features off the Ibiza cupra donor onto the mk2... Mine drives really well and I also read you can get more power from DBW set up... Try to go K04 too as you can achieve 300bhp ish with a good map... This is lots of fun..
Yeah gonna stick with dbw, but I'm struggling with the wiring? Got a few wires on the loom that I don't know where they connect to? Any one got a wiring diagram for one?
