No the subs are not in the door cards as they would have to be about half a foot thick to accommodate them and not let the magnets bend the door card back and attatch itself to the door.

The caps are not on the boot as placing them there would risk the acid leaking and also banging from the boot being opened and closed would knock charge out of the caps themselves.

What were the subs enclosed in?? Details please.

the door cards come out about another 2" and the enclosore if HUGE as it covers most the inside of the doors

o and for the record THOUSANDS of cars have subs in the back doors and granted they have to come a long way off the doors but if built properly could actually fit without having to bring out the door card from the door at all!
