Hi Guys... The light on the digital clock on my 82 golf GTI stopped working... How to change the bulb (if there is one)? Regards
take off the big surround that go's round your stereo, (screws behind the stereo at the top, 3 behind the heater controls, one behind the middle bottom switch blank, one behind the main light switch and 2 above the clocks) take all that off, then theres a screw either side of the dials, take them out, get your hand behind the clocks and unplug the speedo cable, and 2 plugs at the bottom of the clocks, wiggle the dials out and change the middle bulb, then reverse the above oh hold on 82, would that make it a mk1? ^^ all thats for a mk2, have i just wasted lot of effort writing that, damn cant be that much diferent for a mk1 anyway surely?
