Sounds like they last longer than a alfa, mind you that's not hard is it! Count me in for the ZX club, cant wait for the first trackday
wow thats quality, never had those desires in mine but although many will flame me my Volcane went like a rocket if you kept it on boost!
just remembered when my clutch cable snapped in my old zx, it broke about 30 mins from alton towers but I still got back to cornwall with just third gear somehow, managed to only stop once for fuel and pull away still in third - and who says french cars are unreliable! mine was a 3dr lowered with sticky yoko's and it handle way better than any vw i've owned even my current one on coilovers! come to think of it why do I own veedubs? oh yeah 'cause I fookin' love um
Hell yeah i wish i still had every VW i have ever owned. especially miss mk1 1.1 - i paid 103 on ebay for it as a non runner.... 20min work an ht lead an it was running and fffin great. i stupidly sold it for 400 to a kid who trashed it in a matter of weeks and have never seen it since[:^(] and this, which although is looking rather sorry for itself but its a car i dont think i could bring myself to sell i took it off the road over a year ago to do the head gasket... then it just spiraled out of control and ive rebuilt the engine and all sorts.
i recon youll miss the predictability and reliability most. i find it so easy to take it for granted when you have a bullet proof car. i dont think i could live without it really i think the only car ive really missed in the past was my grey a4 diesel lol
thats why it is going to sit on the sisters drive while i decide what to do with it. if i miss it that much and dislike the BM then that'll go and i'll keep the audi.
I had a mint mk gti on a g plate 89k on the clock with every old tax disc/m.o.t from new.Wish i had never sold it, still thinking of getting another one now.
