im assuming you've removed the door pins? if the door pin hole is still there you could get a hook and try to fish and pull up the part of the mech that used to have the door pin attached

I tried to find a good picture online to help, but I cant, so im assuming the passenger door is opening ok? I would take to card off and look at how the mechanism works, then you can try to get the drivers side unlocked with a wire hanger.

I assume at least the drivers door has been retro fitted with an electric central locking solenoid?

what car is it? if mk1/2 you could try removing the slot seal and try to hook something onto the lock tab to release.
