Just to let you guys know.. There is a guy on Ebay breaking a few Mk2 golfs amongst other cars. His name is Will and he lives in Essex. I contacted him regarding a mk2 'track car' he had for sale. After coming to an agreement I travelled from Liverpool to Essex to collect the car. It was advertised with coilovers, it had lowering springs. It was advertised as fully polybushed, none of the front end bushes were poly, and the car was deep in grass so I wasn't getting down to look at the rears, it now turns out none of the car was polybushed. It was advertised with a widetrack conversion, it turns out the car has standard mk2 wishbones/hubs. It was advertised as having new rear brake discs and calipers, the discs were red rusty and the calipers were new.. to this car. Anyway, I wouldn't trust this guy at all. He may even be a member of this forum, and if so I welcome his comments......
yup, would be good to konw who he is to make sure none of us have any dealings with him liverpool is a LONG drive
Can't report him because we made a deal out of ebay. His name is Will Scarlett. I've recieved a PM from someone else who has had bad dealings with him too, so I'm not the only one. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VW-MK2-GOLF-G...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item4cec7db83d Username: Scarlett5689
