Love to mate. I really want to get some photos kerb hopping and with Air!! I get the rear wheel up on most corners but fancied some real action ones. Im not sure if it would be a good idea with an expensice camera on the end. or if thats too much stress on the kit and rig then
That wouldnt work with the car rig. 2.5k camera going hell for leather over a curb. [:^(] But i could get that shot for you if i were positioned on the inside of the bend. It would just need a normal panning shot :-) are you going to castle combe in july?
Thats what i thought! Im not at coombe this year too much work on here. But will definately take you up on you offer sometime and lay some silver in your hand
Thanks Sam, I wish I got to use it more [:^(] I think all the plans are on my flickr or at least all the photos showing the relevant bits are. http://www.flickr.com/photos/richwigley/sets/72157622666317326/ The connectors are a bit hefty really but they work so it doesnt bother me.
Hey Rich, I just had a look at the rig and i see what you mean. I would have thought it would need to be done on a parade lap rather than a track session as well. Saftey wise. Also going over any curbs on a track will be a no no as well do to shaking it about too much.
To get the shot you want, you wouldnt need the rig, you just need the photographer to be stood on the inside of the corner. The rig is strictly low speed.. 1-2mph tops!
