    Good Afternoon

I am sure this has been asked before plenty of times BUT i cannot find the info that i need.

What i am looking for is a fitting guide for the 1.8t and vr6 engines into my mk2 valver, i know it is alot to ask but want to study them both and work out what to do (and if i can do comfortably)

Preferabley all the info in one place or step by step

    Thanks in Advance.

That's a good starting point for a 20vt and the guy is really helpful if you ring him up. Can't help on vr6 as never done one, but search for GVK's build thread on here as he has.

    VR6 can't be done. They're all photoshops.

Can you use the full ECU from the donor car instead of spend a grand on QPENG?

I think MUSHY on here has done the conversion using this method.

Will have a look round for the thread, i just think it will be the easiest and most cost effective method for me as i have already had a small electrical fire with the mk2 loom so don't want to push my chances!

Their DIY ECU/loom kit `only` costs 600. 800 if they do the loom for you.

Yup, if you think it'll be a cheap quick conversion think again! Just finished mine after 19 months and haven't added up the total yet but it's not gonna be a pretty figure.
