I have the same prob with my mk4. Its the turbo rev's rather than the engine rev's though. I thought it was quite good at first (being able to hear ur turbo really loud) but it get annoying as hell. The mk4 also gets louder as you speed up and go quiet when you brake, i think it's meant to do this though. does anyone elses do this?
i had this problem it was the earting make sure when you earth to the car you scratch the paint off where your fixing it too so its metal to metal that sorted mine out
