ESP Light comes on intermittently at approx 60M/P/H

Hi, ive been having this problem for a few months now where the ESP light comes on if i cruise at 60mph. The light will go out i turn off the engine but returns again at 60. Sometimes it will flash a few times then go off but other times it will stay on until i turn the engine off. Does anyone in the Lancashire area, preferably Preston / Blackpool have a VAG-COM that they would be willing to connect to my car and scan it for fault codes? I have a 2005 VW Passat Highline 130 TDi [PD].

does need a scan, could be number of things

have a look in engines FAQ for list of members with vagcom that have made themselve known


let me know what is found, It sounds like a something other than ABS sensor as the abs lights not on

 

im going to be getting a scan done 2morro, i will post the results as soon as i have them

 

scan showed a low voltage fault on ABS control module, after clearing all stored fault codes it didnt register again. Hopefully be ok now. Big thanks to Mike Holroyd (username - mikeholroyd) from SeatCupra.Net.
