New to all this, just had alarm fitted by Turners Car radio,of south croydon. first thing i spotted when i dropped my car in to them was a really clean mk3 parked in their yard. asked what it was in for, only to be told it belonged to the guy who would be fitting my alarm. anyway left the car with them, was phoned later in the day to say it was ready. the guy who fitted went through how it all worked with me. I've since been looking around behind dash, i know the alarms in there somewhere but i'll be b*ggered if i can find it. very pleasing cos if i can find it , hopefully neither can a potential thief. had no problems with at all, very pleased. the fitter even told me about this forum, said it was well worth checking out. will certainly be using them again. mines a mk2 by the way, sorry not a Gti though.
