    Hi

How terrible idea is if i mounting an 8v exhaust system on my ABF swapped MK2? The outer diameter is imo pretty small (~51mm)
Currently i have a complete ~65mm Bastuck system, but its old, need some welding and awful loud, thats my biggest problem with it. Would be a huge step back this 8v exhaust? The engine has just basic stuffs, tb port, airbox mod, ebay chip.

Im done with the "downgrade" and what interesting is, the car feels more alive, more torque at low rpm and better throttle respone. :o

For a standard engine, it hardly makes a difference to the way the car will drive.
That is what I found over the years.
    Quiet too!

I can give the same response. I am using the 8v gti exhaust system with 020 ACD gearbox and the car feels better. The engine is stock.
