Exhaust pipe size from "suitcase" muffler to rear of car ?

    Rear muffler is rotten and needs replacement,not able to measure but presume its 2" can anyone confirm ?,its a 89 Corrado if that helps ,TIA.

    Iirc it's 2.25.

    its metric, so assuming 8v or 16v 55mm. 2.25" is close, but not close enough. learnt that the hard way ;)

    I think the vr6 might be larger but not 100%

    Thanks to RJ and tristan,RJ made a good point,I have measured the rear of the muffler and I get 2.2'' or 55mm so must be metric in my country all exhaust stuff is measured imperial ,the one I can buy is 2" 51mm so that will have to do.
    Not exactly like the one coming off as its round instead of oval but I will make it work,cheers.

    Went ahead and ordered it and paid then got email from seller saying out of stock...appears he hadn't updated his listing.
    I did a deal with him before he refunded the money and he upgraded to a better muffler and he supplied better shipping,so saved $25 .
