Well, as its coming to my 19th birthday, I thought I know, lets get my insurance sorted. I called adrian flux once again and did the usual detail giving, expecting a quote of about 2000 which is what they said it would probably be a month back. However, it came to just over 3000 :( i was gutted.

So sat there staring at my car for 5minutes through the window (hey, i should be a story writer) and thought *******s basically.

So, i decided to try HIC again, which gave me a silly quote another time, but thought what the hell.

Starting doing the usual quote and things, I thought things were a little odd when he started saying member of any mags? PVW etc, i though hmm he knows his stuff...Anyway, turns out hes the owner of an 8v mk2 turbo! And, on the system my quote wouldnt happen, so he took all my details, the good points like pass plus, enthusiast, been driving the 1.6 etc to the manager, talked it with him, and got me my 1900 odd quote [:D]

I was welllll chuffed! And dam lucky to, anyone else would of said the usual. We had a little chat about cars, ive found some pics of his car on edition 38.

    Top guy he was.

Insurance starts in 2 weeks :)

    the clocks ticking.

    dave

CGTI membership could have possibly got you a bigger discount. Either way - well done. [:D]

yes it is, just passed my test at 17 mk1 16v GTI it was 1011, after 1yr NCB its now 688. Thats with elephant, give them a try or admiral as Darryn said, they're both the same company anyway.

It'l bring it down if you stick an older driver on as a named driver.
