I'd have to suspect the mileage. You don't get original corrado clocks with golf VR6 engines.

Other than that its a sweet car (for a jetta ;))

What's interesting is that's not the original seller. It was advertised on loads of sites by a guy called MerseysideBossman, and that ain't him. Maybe someone bought it then went straight to eBay with it. Weird...

Its a bit unfair to say that isnt it Fin?

I also notice that the other RHD UK 2dr Jetta is back up on ebay - that guy has been trying to sell it for about 12months I think. It was up for sale at Inters as well. A little optimistic on the price I think personally

I notice in the adverts now he doesnt mention the car used to be a 4 door and was converted with 2 door quarter panels. That is what put me off in he first place, other than the fact that i cant afford it...

This Jetta was originally a 4dr that was converted to a 2dr using the proper panels from VAG back in the late 90's (97 or 98) and then was featured in PVW

Only if its been done properly, ytheres a higher chance of rust when you weld in pannels like that.

Personally I wouldn't care about that, but I don't like Jettas
