finished! - Car Design.

    decided to to a bit of drawing and then editing on ps.

    i went for a 2 seater coupe look similar to the 350z.

    any comments welcome.

    initial sketch.

    i then used the pen tool to trace the sketch. ps is really good for this sort of thing, i added and adjusted little bits such as the headlight angle and alignment.

    and this is where ive got to tonight, adding block colour and then dding highlights and depth using dodge and burn tools.

    ill update this in various stages and the finished thing. cheers :thumbup:

    also sketched a pantera, and my golf, but I couldn't be arsed to trace the golf in photoshop, so cheated and it looks crap, and never got round to foing the pantera, no scanner so it's a digicam pic and looks rubbish.....

    Just flatten the top left bit of the bonnet & drag the furthest lights around a bit more

    should sort out the perspective then

    the top left of the bonnet is a bonnet bulge but the headlights a bit dicky i know lol.

    You need to take it down to ATS in my opinion, get the wheel alignment sorted. :lol:

    nice first go, would be worth using the ellipse tool for the wheels next time though, and draw some guides to help with the perspective

    also do some rough sketches of the side profile and front view first to help you work out the design, dont have to be too developed, its good to work in 3d as soon as possible when designing

    underlying drawing needs more structure, start with a centreline and aligh the axles with the vanishing points
