So as I started my teenage years this was a super cool film of the day After watching this bit I went out and bought the 12" vinyl single and the LP soundtrack lol
First 12" I bought was Blue Monday mostly because it was only released as a 12" But the best 12" ever has to be Girls on Film (night version) by Duran Duran, mainly because of the video, I don't think I'd be allowed to post a link here though
Band on the Run by Paul McCartney and Wings... I left it on the parcel shelf of my mate's Mk 1 Cortina while we were in the pub for the afternoon and it warped in the sunshine, but still played perfectly well.. ! :-)
The other half think what's a MP3 lol Now I'm going to embarrass myself by admitting that while buying the 12" of Tour de France I also purchased the 12" picture disc of Paul McCartneys the frog courous
I remember the rushed out sequel film more, Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo. Maybe for all the wrong reasons. I bought my first 12" single at the same age pre teen, just... Rock Me Amadeus (Special Salieri Club Mix) now there's a wtf for all ages. I still have it and I was pleased to find some empirical evidence that I went on to some real rock with Led Zeppelin in the same year.
It's so easy now to look up that risqu English sounding line ending lyric at 1:42 'bekannt' Speaking of the police records here is 1982's Der Kommissar apparently about taking cocaine in public. Never heard it before as it never reached the charts in the UK.
