The Mk4 uses a different fitment.

What you can fit is the Mk3.5 Cabrio (the one which has a Mk4 front end but is basically a Mk3) wheel. These are like the Mk4 wheels but have Mk3 fitment. The only trouble is they are relatively rare, and cost a lot from VW, but they fit straight on and the airbag should, I believe, plug straight in.

just wondering if the cabrio wheel would fit a mkIV polo also? i suspect it would.

also, how much do you reckon it would cost to get a second hand one from a scrappy (although it may be hard to find one that hasn't gone off)?
