We're getting to the end of the MK3 16v road rally car build (will update the main thread soon). Want to fit a hydraulic handbrake to it but in road rallying you have to keep the original cable-operated setup and add the hydraulics onto the original lever. Got one of these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/260963998459?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649 on the way, just wondering if anyone's made anything simliar so I can get an idea on the bracketry required to get it into a MK3 (MK2 should be almost the same I think). I'm going to fit a bias valve too as the car had ABS before I ripped it all out so it's not got a brake pressure valve on the back axle. Thanks for any replies. Noel
This is how we did it in the end - modified Escort MK2 kit from Peter Lloyd rallying on custom made bracket. Another shot
