Mrs oldnick has to return her company car (Skoda Karoq) soon, and whilst giving it a clean she spotted a 1” tear low down in the drivers seat backrest.
Has anyone had any luck with repairing damage like that?

You know iron on strip stuff for taking up school trousers….

You may be able to tuck some through the split and flatten it out behind. Then (through a cloth) iron it to stick the split.

it should be ok for a while and will be less visible than trying to stitch it.

I did this on a BMW E30 seat base.
