A mate of mine in jersey has had his done on his fezza 2 litre zetec lumped toy by a firm called pro-trim, some samples of the kind of flocking they do by e-mailing them on gary@protrim.wannado.co.uk.

Not sure on prices but he swears by the finish etc

    Hope this helps!

its really easy, you could train a weasel to do it!

although if you wanted to do a whole dash you should get someone to help you as you need to be quick to get the flock on after the adhesive

i did those heater vents a couple of weeks ago. i took one of them to uni in my bag on my bike and it didnt damage it, i was quite suprised how hard core it was.

it is quite messy yes. you basically rub back the item with sand paper. i used 120grit, then you plaster on this adhesive liberally then fill the flock puffer 75% full of flock and "puff" it onto the adhesive. i bought an extra puffer from a hobby shop thats for puffing flock onto model trainsets as grass for 2 so i can get a mate to help. i found you have to put alot of flock on to get a good finish, its best to do it in some sort of box or on some plastic so you can collect the excess and use it again. and definitely wear a mask when you do it coz the flock gets everywhere

my dash is going to "Pro-Trim" at some point. i was going to attempt it myself, but over large expanses it starts to look a bit flat, and doing it indoors the adhesive was going off mega quick!
