Was that a subtle hint to make sure you get a Happy Birthday thread?

Your Birthday is exactly 20 days before mine

So i rang Footman James back today and told them about my cheaper quote from Bridle Insurance at 198. They put me through to the underwriters middle man and he said "How Dose 185 sound? :o

    So i get

185, 50 excess, legal Cover, UK and EU Breakdown, 35day trip cover within the EU

Limited 4500miles 375miles a month, Agreed Valuation have to send pics ect

    keep my NCB

Funny how they chopped 115 pounds off just like that good thing i shopped around.

sorry to hijack slightly, but i have recently gone with footman james and discussed clubgti as a regular forum i post on, they mentioned joining and getting the discount, so i have become a member, but have not heard anything from clubgti regarding the membership, do i receive an email or something through the post?

i spoke to footman james and for a dual car policy -
mk2 16v with coilovers and alloy wheels and project car 2.0 16v, 280 brakes, eibach front and rear anti roll bars, coilovers, 500 pounds worth of alloy wheels, both cars on limited 5k miles 460 of the queens finest! i was so chuffed, my renewal for the 1.8 16v was 600 pounds from another reputable insurance company!

Guys, I'm a bit confused with the "keeping NCB" thing. I have 9 years NCB from a policy that expired a year ago. I understand that most insurers won't accept a NCB after it has expired over two years ago.

I am therefore looking for a policy (Fully Comp, 1989 MK2 GL only lowered and alloys) to use my NCD so I don't "loose" it (thorough expiry). My understanding is that you don't gain any yearly NCD on classic car policies. BUT can you use existing NCD so it will "stay renewed", if that makes sense?

    Thanks in advance,
    D
