My roof aerial is quite rubbish, I have one in the attic too but that's not perfect.

Rather than pay some monkey to stick a new one up what is the Freesat stuff like.

I can borrow a neighbours ladders to stick a dish up no problem and the 4 LNB ones I've seen would be ideal for my purposes.

Do you need a box with each tv to decode the bobbins?

Yes unless the tv has built in decoder or you setup a video sender like sky magic eye.

I have ran my sat dish to attic with a fancy labgear amplifier that sends the signal to other rooms via a coax it can merge sat arila and fm down one cable.

    Hope this helps

There's no difference between non-Sky Freesat, and Freesat. They both use the same satellites.
I used to have Sky, stopped paying for it, connected a different box, and I have Freesat. If you have Sky and are out of contract, the box and dish are now yours, and you can just cencel your contract and get a Freesat box.
