    Hi Guys,

Wow it's been a long time since i have been on. I've even added 2 members to the family (of vehicles i mean..... ;)) since i was last on. A Leon Cupra and a Suzuki DRZ 400 Supermoto [:D]

Anyway it;s time to get the Golf out of the garage it;s been hiding in for 2.5 years. It's a bit dusty and is as i left it before i went to Australia. The motor went in, the loom/electric are wired up but i haven't got any k-jet fuelling as my golf was a digi. I need the higher pressure fuel lines to run from the pump under the car to the engine bay. Finding good unmolested ones from a 16v donor is proving a bit hard.

So what i'm wondering is, is there anything i can put together from raw parts that will be a good replacement for the original fuel lines?

On the motorbike if i want a braided hose i don't buy a kit for the bike i justr go find out the length i want and get a hose of ebay with the right fittings. I'm looking for a similar solution for the fuelling on the golf. Anyone done the same?

    Mark

These new guys on the forum seem to be getting good feedback and may well be able to help.

If your car was digifant and is now going to kjet then you will need the higher pressure k jet injection pump and an accumulator.

I made Kjet fuel lines out of copper 8mm pipe - same as HGV brake pipe- apparently. It's double clipped to rubber hose at each end - I put a slight swage on the ends with a flaring tool.
