G620 aut - blue mk2 2.0 16v

Hi guys, I just picked up this car as my new project, just wandering if anybody by any chance knows abything about it/used to own it? As it's come with very little history, not too bothered mind, but a bit of history is always nice so I know what's been done.

I used to own g621aut! was a driver tho..... 1600 single carb, my first car.

 

Sequencial regs are a bit funny, I saw the next number from mine and it was an identical car.

 

G620 aut was a driver 1600 too! It's now got a 2.0 16v in it, I'm just trying to find out if anyone was any info on the conversion, mileage etc, as it's had gti clocks in. Am I right in thinking that when you put different clocks in, u can only put clocks in with a higher mileage?so when mot comes round the mileage has gone up, rather than down?
