i'm was speaking from experiance, fitted -40mm springs to my ibiza and within months the dampers were fuct.
simple as that, and when i had to pay 70 quid for 4 wheel allignment,i vowed never to take a leak about again, ;) springs and dampers at the same time for me.

jason...ever thought that the dampers were on there way out already? just an idea.

ok, all those who say no, answer this...which is better A) standard spings/standard dampers, or B) uprated springs/standard dampers?

at the end of the day...if you can't afford dampers as well...then you can't get them!!!

also worth noting that gmax engineer there springs to work okay with standard dampers.
