The BBS centre caps and logos are original but have seen better days. Second hand ones are expensive so I thought I would try some of the AliExpress reproduction ones. For the price, I was surprised how good they look and quality of fitting. IMG_20241003_204809441.jpg IMG_20241003_204819498.jpg

Yesterday I had the opportunity to take the car for drive from Edinburgh to Cairndow on Loch Fyne. It was one of my favourite routes, ending further on at Inveraray, when working for a company grass cutting British Telecom sites. Every time I went, the weather was great and yesterday was no different.

Journey back via Tarbert and Loch Lomond, total was 225 miles, 54mpg and average 43mph with a mix of Motorway, A-roads and B-roads.

Not bad for a tuned G60 engine but I suspect the ASD gearbox helped with the mpg!

Have you refurbished the heaterbox flaps when you replaced the matrix, mine was the same with almost no warm air inside but is good now since a refurb

After several advisories about the rear brake load valve being seized and needing freeing off and some corroded rear brake lines I finally got round to getting them sorted.

However I was shocked by the state of the rear splash guards so they were replaced as well. Sometimes I forget the car is almost 35 years old!
