- read the info and it tells you ...... only exterior difference is the rims and rear lights i think its pants .......what next a nike polo and if ur real skint a hi-tec caddy lol
VAG seem to have drafted in Alloy Wheel designers from 'Fox Racing' and a few other Halfords stablemates. Have you seen the utter *****e that Audi have churned out for their Wrthersee promotion? Seven 'special' A1s
Wikkid bruv, wen can e get mi hands on dem? Thankfully my new car will only have proper brand styling, and no Louis Vuitton styling.
The "Excessive" sounds interesting though. Debuts as Worthersee too. Thankfully there are no plans to bring the Adidas (A-deee-das) to the UK.
The wheels aren`t that bad really... I would have expected to see some `three-stripe` decals somewhere though. And is hooking up with an International sports brand really any less of a cynical marketing ploy than some of VW`s previous `collabarations`?...Bon Jovi/Extreme/Rolling Stones Mk3 Golfs anyone?...
^^ to us its tacky - probably why it's not coming here. But its one of thier strongest brands, so probably doesn't scream 'chav' to the germans where its being sold.
What? A sports brand with its roots in football, running circuits and chavdom, yet with perceived inherent quality? All very well for non-sports field activity, but Adidas? Complete news to me. In the same bucket with Nike and the rest.
its no more a better link than a 106 quicksilver is it? a surf brand and a 106? probably the only car you cant fit a board in FFS!!!! lol.
Thats horrible!!!! They should of stuck to this instead. Last year's Worthersee concept , looked much nicer compared to the Adidas one, better wheels too!!
Order of merit in sports brands - a rough (and possibly incomplete) guide: First lowest of the low: football and track events. Nike, Adidas, Umbro + the rest. Worn by chavs as casual clothing, across the land. Then surfing/windsurfing gear - up a peg: Quicksilver, possibly throw in Oakley apparel etc. Worn by beach bums and antipodeans / wannabes, anywhere. Bit of crossover to snowboarding. Then sailing gear - all the clothing brands, Musto, Henri Lloyd, Crew Clothing, the usual. Bit of crossover to surfing / skiiing. Then: Shooting gear - Holland & Holland, all hugely expensive gear etc Riding gear - similarly expensive gear etc etc So if Adidas sits anywhere upwards from the basement in Germany, I'm amazed.
