GTI Mk1 Alloys

Mk1 Golf Gti 1.6 I have lowered my car by 40mm.

What is the maximum tyre and alloy size i can go to without any arch work?

15" can it be done?

Currently 13" alloys with 175/70 r13 tyres

 

15" wheels are normally fine but depends on the width an offset. For example a 7jx15" wheel with an offset of around 38 and 195/50/15 tyres will not give you any problems.

 

So no fouling on arches and turning then?

If thats the case I better start saving hehe

 

no, as long as you don't go lower than 40mm you will be fine.
