my friend wants to turbocharge his 98 vw gti 2.0l 8v Im not very formilier with vw engines or their control systems so im wondering if any of you have experience with this. I need to know if there are any parts available, if anything has to be fabricated and if anything has to be done to the computer.

any thing can be turbo'd, just read an article on a 1 litre Micra turbo'd, now pushing 150BHP If your plannind to do it yourselves, good luck, I'd pass the car onto someone that does it for a living! Most things car be off self, if you know where to look, then built at home most piping would be custom
