I actually joined a few weeks ago but I was a bit ashamed to share the tatty boy racer Mk2 I bought. After much help from various people on here I know have it running nicely and doing all the things it's supposed to. I'm in the far North of Cumbria, UK so there's not a lot going on up here. If anyone who know's their VW's want's to say hello it'd be nice to meet a fellow enthusiast. So here's my ABF Mk2, originally an 8v GTI. When I got it it was on very wrong wheels, had a cheap debadged grille and blew the ECU/ISV fuse whenever you turned the key. The exhaust was full of holes, no interior lights worked and the fusebox had obviously been on fire. After fixing all that, fitting BBS RA's, LED dash lights and the VR6 interior I was craving I'm pretty happy with it. Still lots to do but here it is. Really appreciating all the help I've already received on here. Great to find there's such a friendly community out there.
