16v Going to a show is I think my best bet 6000 is a lot but a standard Mk2 is a classic car I owned J41 CUL that now wins all the shows - why did I sell it! Thanks
At that kind of money, why don't you snap up one of the utterly mint Edition One G60s that have been advertised recently? I've seen a few on Edition 38 and Dubforce.
16v I know what you mean but whenever I see a 3 door Oak Green Mk2 it beats any other VW in my opinion I have had Corrado Storm, Mk1 Gti, Mk2 8v, Mk3 VR6, Mk3 Gti, Mk4 Gti ......all pale against the Mk2 16v that I had Its all subjective after all - otherwise we would all drive the same car
What the fu*k is it with Oak green mk2's Are they the holy Grail of mk2's or something? For that type of money i would rather have a nice Ed1 G60. But each to their own.
I got hit with an Oak Green Tax bill once I bought my rare coloured one as well.It came through a couple of weeks later, a bit like Import tax bill from DHL
sold my oak green mk2 for 1700quid and it had 4grand spent on it + 1300 for the car originally, defo get a edition1 for 6 grand it will hold its money, chucking money at what really is not a rare car is a mugs game
I stuck some RA's on mine and the scene tax man came knocking on my door....expensive game that oak green thing

if oak green is your thing and you want to spend lots of money check this one out... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/mk2-golf-gti-...rms=39:1|66:2|65:7&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14.l1318
Yip thats a bit dear, even if it has got low mileage. And mines came with the BBS RA's so I guess thats why I got shafted so badly.I'd well rather pay the 400 petrol guzzler tax the government issues rather than the Oak & Scene Tax issued by the dubbers!
