help needed mk1 turbo technics conversion

hi ,
just wondered if anyone has had any experience with the old turbo technics conversion for the mk1 8v engine, at the mo fitting a g60 lump into my car but with a turbo technics manifold and garrat t34 turbo unfortunately i haven't got a waste gate casting. does anyone have any idea if i can get one off another car to do the job or where i may be able to find one??

What do you mean wastegate casting? The actual wastegate?

 

yeah, its got 5 bolts that connect it to the turbo and the down pipe connects to the other side ?

 

so do u mean ur missing the whole exhaust housing?
im using a t34 on my rallye 16v turbo,the t34 is a hybrid
the '4' part is bcoz it uses a t4 compresser housing
and the '3' part is bcoz its the exhaust housing off of a t3!
any t3 exhaust housing should fit,
try turbo developments on 02085603927 thats who built my turbo they mite b able to sale u anew or second hand housing??????????

 

Like this, but without three of the holes? They're pretty readily available if that's what you're after?

didnt know you could buy them off the shelf , actually spent the past couple nights doing drawings so i could have them flame/plasma/laser cut
is it possible to get the other side of the turbo aswell ?

The other side as in the compressor housing? Any turbo recon place will be able to sell you what you need....
