driving home tonight in my mk2 8v gti, noticed the tempeture was low, then the radio started cuttting out. then the rev counter and temperture and dash board stop working. car began to be suggish, made it home pulled up with engine running. turned the lights off and rev counter started to work. switched lights on and off and rev counter followed suit. turned the engine off but would not start again, just got dash lights but would not turn over.anyone got an idea, any help would be appreciated thanks.
