And I'm all out of bubble.

Hello everyone. I've owned a few VWs:
    4x Corrados
    1x Mk2 Scirocco,
4x MK1s Rabbit (including Rabbit Trucks)
    1x Mk2
    Mk5 GLI
    2x Air-cooled Beetles

My current cars: 1993 Corrado SLC & 1985 Jetta TD.

I'm 36 years old in the US military aviator flying Blackhawks.

I just purchased a used ABF from Europe, I believe it was originally from a vehicle in the Uk.

Thanks for having me. Looking forward to learning tons.

    Thanks all,

    Yank Chris

Welcome,do you plan the remove the Vr6 motor and fit the ABF into the SLC ?,I 've just gone 1.8KR to ABF,I reckon these are a great engine to swap into any early VW.
Plenty of great folks on here to assist should you need it,cheers.

    Thanks man.

I wasn't planning on putting it in the Corrado. I want to rebuild the engine and trans first. Then find a car for it. Originally considering Mk2s or Mk3s. I like the idea of Mk3 4 door Golf. I'm not sure, I'll wait for the car to present itself to me. There's a lot about this motor that I need to get schooled on (IE what ABA parts are swappable vs. parts that I need to source from Europe)

Glad to be here. I've been using this site for many resources recently. Figured I'd finally sign up.
