im looking around for my first motor, seeing that mk1, mk2 gti are arouns the 2g (insurence) mark aswell. but i might just go for a lil driver and build it up

 

damn straight, no chance gettin a GTI on the road unless ur rollin with some serious cash.

jetta or golf 1.6 is fast enough and cool enough for a first ride. i would probably go for a 1.3 now cos its even cheaper to insure (which is nice)

hmm last time i check a gti was 2g a year, seems to go up and down but. need to see rather have a really nice 1.3 driver than a gti incase i crushed it lol

 

I used to hate Jettas, thought they werre the poor relation to a Golf. Now however I have a real empathy with them - seeing them on here and magazines has made me appriciate them, especially the older ones.

not yet. im call the driving instructor soon and sort it out. ive only had one lesson so far, but he said i should need another 5 and ill be ready. so ill book a test and do a few lessons up to that date and hopefully pass!

ive done alot of drivin for a learner

sold my jetta to a friend cos he needed a car, im so nice. lol. i miss it, i never saw it driving on the road before and damn does it look good.

never got it! got a mk2 1.8 instead

got my test in 2 weeks, had 3 lessons and the drivin instructor told me i dont need any more as id be wasting my money!!

i first failed by doing 47mph in a 50mph road

he put it down as a dangerous fault and failed me

just because there were a few cars behind me
