I discovered this on my Mk 2 . It's on offside wing, mounted verically and you can't see it until you pull slam panel and front panel off. Any idea what it is?
yeah it is the chassis # aint it? mine says gti on the end so if your not sure you've got a gti shell then take a look
It`s not the chassis number. They start WVWZZZ. Seeing as it has a barcode it`s probably some kind of factory identifier, for when it was on the production line, before it was given it`s chassis number.
